This....Is.....Jeopardy!

This week in English, we've compared how different strategies of learning can be framed into our agenda. How would you want to learn a class lesson? Would you rather do bookwork? Didn't think so. How about trivia games? Jeopardy for example, is a great way to enhance your knowledge in any topic. It allows you to test your knowledge and also a great way to study. Throughout high school its been a resourceful tool to help me study and I will continue using it throughout college.

  1. I loved the idea of playing Jeopardy. Last week I brought in a "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?" PowerPoint for my game. Through out High School I had a few teachers that made Jeopardy slides for the class to use as a test review. It was always my favorite type of review because I think it truly is effective and can be used for any subject.

  2. I agree with you on many levels. I absolutely hate book work and dread when a teacher gives you a million pages to read or whatever. It is absolutely the worst. I love the idea of Jeopardy as well and yes, a lot of my teachers in High School used it just to either refresh our memory of review for a test. Jeopardy was one of my favorite games throughout my schooling career!!

  3. Cool. Back in high school, we done something like jeopardy in a history class. It was very competitive, entertaining, and also a great way to study for test. Also the winner get like a 5 point bonus for the test.

  4. I like how your post is short and to the point. It is interesting that you use a bunch of quesitons to make up the main body. Its good that you learned how to study and access the resources needed to succeed in high school before you got to college. I had to re-learn these skills, but i feel i have a pretty good handle on it now.
